Join us for an immersive retreat to experience a deeper connection with your own soul + divine essence while you enjoy connecting with your body to find the joy of embodiment in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Pennsylvania Allegheny Mountains.
Imagine being in a restful state with your hands on your belly, breathing deeply, connecting inward, inviting the energy of your own soul to ripple through each and every cell in your body. Allow it to radiate + nourish you as you feel the support of being in a receptive state surrounded with an encouraging sacred circle of feminine energy.
Here you will have the ability to choose to step away from the busyness of your day-to-day schedule, and experience yourself more conscious and embodied. You will have the chance to learn how to deepen your ability to be in a receptive state of connection with your body + soul. Through intention, mindfulness and simple yet powerful techniques you can have the opportunity to find deeper intuition, more meaningful support from the inside out, and experience more ease and joy of being in your body + aligned with your heart & soul.
In the retreat, we will dive into sacred ritual and embodiment practices to connect with our body + soul with conscious experiences of; the breath, gentle movement, distance energy healing, journaling, giving and receiving of mindful touch with an energetic presence, flowing creative dance expression that will move emotion and free tension while experiencing the creative sensuality of being embodied. We intend to nourish ourselves in the deepest sense by aligning with our wholeness. You will leave with practices that you can integrate to provide a grounded place of comfort, ease and for positive impact in your life and the world.
On our Women’s Embodiment Retreat we join together to show up for each other with respect, compassion and personal responsibility in a safe, relaxing and supported group. We witness, honor and celebrate our individual wisdom and creative flow so we can return home rested, renewed and restored.

Meet Your Host
Nikki Remic Bannon
Having been energetically aware of the world since childhood Nikki has been exploring a combination of movement, bodywork, energy healing and meditation for almost 30 years. She meets you where you are from a place of non-judgement, loving kindness, humor and desire for deep connection. She honors and is inspired by the unique essence and beauty that we all have along our paths together, and is in awe of resonance that nourishes us when we come together in shared purpose. Her grounded style and blend of experience support; growth, healing and transformation to ripple out into the world for the evolution of her clients and humanity.
Nikki leads individuals and groups from a place of deep intuition, spiritual alignment and compassion for their own inner wisdom to unfold. While holding space to connect, in a body- centered approach, she creates the opportunity to align with the essence for transformation and healing to occur from the inside out.
Nikki is the Founder and a Practitioner of a multi award winning wellness spa, the Pittsburgh Center for Complementary Health and Healing. She has studied a variety of modalities to support women’s health as a Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki Master, Advanced Cellular Expansion & Healing Practitioner alongside with her trainings to facilitate Awakening Women’s Temple Groups, EmbodiYoga and Journey Dance. She cultivates a blend of these experiences for others to share in connection and step away from the “busy”ness and burn out of modern life. Nikki guides clients and groups to shift into states of spacious, yet grounded, peace, ease and flow for deeper intuition to unfold naturally. Her mindful presence and capacity for holding space guides; coming back to a relationship of love with the body as a gateway to sensing, having a deeper inner experience of spiritual connection, and an openness/invitation/allowing of an expanded state of embodiment.
Wellness with Nature
Resting on 150 acres, River Mountain is bordered by Sweet Root Creek, Warrior Ridge and Tussey Mountain. River Mountain's stunning spaces are designed for reflection, mindfulness, and good vibrations on your self-care journey. Creekside yoga platforms, a restored barn turned wellness space, and the calm of nature make this the ideal destination for peace and wellness.
Located just a few hours from D.C., Baltimore, and Pittsburgh, in the mountains of Pennsylvania, River Mountain is remote yet easy to access.
History
Warrior Path
Running parallel to River Mountain's eastern ridge is Warriors Path, the great Iroquois Indian highway from Six Nations country, New York, to the Catawba country in the Carolinas. The historic path along Sweet Root Creek was one of the longest and most heavily traveled land routes in eastern North America, connecting Indigenous peoples over hundreds of miles.
The Underground Railroad
Black Valley was an active route along the Underground Railroad. Local histories principally credit four, free black residents with leading the aid network in this area: Rev. John Fidler, Elias Rouse, Joseph Crawley, and James Graham. Just to the south of the River Mountain property are 13 unmarked graves of enslaved people who died traveling the route to freedom.
