Reroot – Rewire – Rewild

Reroot – Rewire – Rewild

All Men and Women: Join Energy Fitness Studio owners Kaitlyn and Trenton Sweet on an internal wake up call for a 4 day and 3 night adventurous retreat in the stunning River Mountain oasis. Drop your constant chaos, and gather with us to experience jam packed days of fitness, health awareness, and spiritual connection. We have always strived to bring like minded people together to feel safe to be who they are, and learn the movements their bodies have been forever craving. Energy Studio is bringing their A-game by providing you a variety of wellness classes such as Restorative Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Hot Yoga, and Kundalini Yoga. Just when you thought that was a lot, we are guiding you through a skilled KettleBell workout before encouraging you to join in on a chilly ice plunge. Sound like fun? There is more! After each full day of energy work, we will relax into Sacred Sound’s beautifully harmonized sound bath to help clear the old and invite the new! Not to mention, we will all gather together for a Cacao Ceremony & Drumming to release all unwanted stagnant energy and welcome a higher vibration of living. Are you ready to join us to reroot, rewire and rewild?

Jen lucas

Jen Lucas is the owner of Sacred Tones Sound Healing Studio in Canonsburg and the Sound Therapy Provider at Nemacolin Resort’s Holistic Healing Center. Jen earned her Sound Therapy Practitioner certification in 2021 from Shift Meditation in Amsterdam and also holds two Vibrational Sound and Energy Therapist certifications (Foundational and Advanced Skills) from the Alexander Method®, a tuning fork modality. After living in Southern California and experiencing sound therapy work as a participant, Jen recognized profound improvements in her mental, emotional, and physical well-being during a tumultuous time in her life. She also discovered a deeper love and recognition for the work as her soul's mission, perhaps something she’s done many (life)times before. Using a variety of instruments and techniques, Jen is able to tap into her intuitive resources to produce powerful frequency combinations that resonate with those attending her sessions, aiding in that individual's healing of the mind, body, and soul!

Wellness with Nature

Resting on 150 acres, River Mountain is bordered by Sweet Root Creek, Warrior Ridge and Tussey Mountain. River Mountain's stunning spaces are designed for reflection, mindfulness, and good vibrations on your self-care journey. Creekside yoga platforms, a restored barn turned wellness space, and the calm of nature make this the ideal destination for peace and wellness.

Located just a few hours from D.C., Baltimore, and Pittsburgh, in the mountains of Pennsylvania, River Mountain is remote yet easy to access.

History

Warrior Path

Running parallel to River Mountain's eastern ridge is Warriors Path, the great Iroquois Indian highway from Six Nations country, New York, to the Catawba country in the Carolinas. The historic path along Sweet Root Creek was one of the longest and most heavily traveled land routes in eastern North America, connecting Indigenous peoples over hundreds of miles.

The Underground Railroad

Black Valley was an active route along the Underground Railroad. Local histories principally credit four, free black residents with leading the aid network in this area: Rev. John Fidler, Elias Rouse, Joseph Crawley, and James Graham. Just to the south of the River Mountain property are 13 unmarked graves of enslaved people who died traveling the route to freedom.
