Deeply Rooted: A Women’s Wellness Retreat
Ready to step away from hustle culture and into a space where you don’t have to hold it all together?
Nestled in the Allegheny Mountains, this retreat is an invitation to slow down, soften, and be deeply supported. It’s for the woman who gives generously, carries a lot, and rarely takes time away—not because she doesn’t need it, but because asking can feel hard.
Here, you’ll be held by nature, nourishing food, and a supportive community. Through daily somatic, fascia, and breathwork practices, we’ll gently support nervous system regulation, presence, and a deeper connection to your body. This all-inclusive, immersive experience is designed to nourish you from the inside out and help build your body’s capacity to feel more grounded, resilient, and at ease.
Beyond the guided practices, you’ll have plenty of space to simply be. Wander the beautiful River Mountain property, read a book in a hammock beneath the trees, soak in cedar hot tubs, or gather around a campfire for stargazing, warmth, and s’mores. Throughout the weekend, there is no pressure to do it all—only opportunities to reconnect with yourself, restore your energy, and come back home to your body.

Meet your hosts
Bridget and Sarah
Bridget is a certified Trauma-Informed Breathwork Facilitator, Life Coach, and Holistic Nutritionist trained in nervous system regulation. Her work is rooted in her own healing journey with disordered eating and hustle culture, where she found herself constantly striving yet deeply disconnected.
Sarah is a certified yoga teacher with training in nervous system regulation and fascia-based practices. Her work is rooted not only in yoga and breath, but in her own lived experience as a busy mom, living in constant motion and navigating anxiety/depression, IBS, and an overwhelmed nervous system.
Sarah and Bridget found the transformative power of breath, somatic based practices and nervous system regulation as the way to slow down and restore balance, build inner capacity and reconnect with the voice already inside each of us.
Today, they’re deeply passionate about creating spaces for women to listen to their bodies instead of overriding them - offering grounded, supportive spaces to soften, let go and step into a way of living that prioritizes their well-being without apology. They’re honored and excited to share this experience with you.

Wellness with Nature
Resting on 150 acres, River Mountain is bordered by Sweet Root Creek, Warrior Ridge and Tussey Mountain. River Mountain's stunning spaces are designed for reflection, mindfulness, and good vibrations on your self-care journey. Creekside yoga platforms, a restored barn turned wellness space, and the calm of nature make this the ideal destination for peace and wellness.
Located just a few hours from D.C., Baltimore, and Pittsburgh, in the mountains of Pennsylvania, River Mountain is remote yet easy to access.
History
Warrior Path
Running parallel to River Mountain's eastern ridge is Warriors Path, the great Iroquois Indian highway from Six Nations country, New York, to the Catawba country in the Carolinas. The historic path along Sweet Root Creek was one of the longest and most heavily traveled land routes in eastern North America, connecting Indigenous peoples over hundreds of miles.
The Underground Railroad
Black Valley was an active route along the Underground Railroad. Local histories principally credit four, free black residents with leading the aid network in this area: Rev. John Fidler, Elias Rouse, Joseph Crawley, and James Graham. Just to the south of the River Mountain property are 13 unmarked graves of enslaved people who died traveling the route to freedom.
