Bloom: Breathwork and Wellness Retreat
Rooted in stillness. Released into becoming.
This November, step away from the noise and into yourself. This intimate retreat (November 19–22) is a four-day immersive experience designed to help you shed what no longer serves you and return home lighter, clearer, and more deeply yourself.
Set against the backdrop of late autumn, nature’s own season of release, you’ll move through a carefully curated journey of breathwork, shadow work, and somatic movement, including mat Pilates and yoga. Each day is anchored by intentional practices: guided meditation, reflective journaling, and sensory hikes along wooded paths that invite you to slow down and listen. Nourish your body with fresh, farm-to-table meals while your nervous system unwinds in cedar hot tubs beneath the November sky. As evening falls, gather around the fire for s’mores, a sacred fire ceremony, and a ritual cacao ceremony that honors both the ending and the becoming.
This is winter shedding in its truest form; a space to grieve what you’re releasing, celebrate who you’re growing into, and remember that transformation doesn’t always look like doing more. Sometimes, it looks like finally being still.
Space is intentionally limited. Come ready to go inward. Come ready to bloom.

Meet Your Host
Andria Winger
Andria Winger is an Arlington-based wellness coach, NASM-certified personal trainer, ACE-certified group fitness coach, trauma-informed breathwork facilitator, and 200-hour yoga teacher. Her approach to healing is whole-person and unapologetically real, blending physical strength, nervous system literacy, and deep inner work to help people become stronger in every sense of the word.
Her path into this work began in 2022, when a single breathwork session stopped her in her tracks and made one thing undeniably clear: it was time to stop drinking and start healing. Now four years alcohol-free, Andria brings that lived experience of transformation into every room she leads because she hasn’t just studied this work, she’s been changed by it. She lives in Arlington with her husband and her Husky, Leo, and is most at home when she’s outside, moving, and breathing deeply.

Wellness with Nature
Resting on 150 acres, River Mountain is bordered by Sweet Root Creek, Warrior Ridge and Tussey Mountain. River Mountain's stunning spaces are designed for reflection, mindfulness, and good vibrations on your self-care journey. Creekside yoga platforms, a restored barn turned wellness space, and the calm of nature make this the ideal destination for peace and wellness.
Located just a few hours from D.C., Baltimore, and Pittsburgh, in the mountains of Pennsylvania, River Mountain is remote yet easy to access.
History
Warrior Path
Running parallel to River Mountain's eastern ridge is Warriors Path, the great Iroquois Indian highway from Six Nations country, New York, to the Catawba country in the Carolinas. The historic path along Sweet Root Creek was one of the longest and most heavily traveled land routes in eastern North America, connecting Indigenous peoples over hundreds of miles.
The Underground Railroad
Black Valley was an active route along the Underground Railroad. Local histories principally credit four, free black residents with leading the aid network in this area: Rev. John Fidler, Elias Rouse, Joseph Crawley, and James Graham. Just to the south of the River Mountain property are 13 unmarked graves of enslaved people who died traveling the route to freedom.
