Covered Bridge Scenic Drive

There are 14 covered bridges just miles from River Mountain in Bedford County. Built approximately 100 years ago by craftsmen who worked almost entirely by hand, these structures withstand the rain, snow and hard use of the traveling public. Take a scenic, countryside drive to “uncover” them.
