Covid-19 Protocol and Updates

Open Space & Fresh Mountain Air

Our Committment to Health & Wellbeing

We are looking forward to welcoming you to River Mountain this fall to enjoy our beautiful property! Our brand new glamping pods offer the ideal opportunity to get away and be well.
Situated on 150 acres of undisturbed natural beauty, we are spatially distanced by nature. We offer open spaces, an endless supply of fresh mountain air, and the city escape we all want right now.
To ensure the well-being of our guests and staff, we have made operational enhancements to help you travel in confidence:
Check-in/Check-out
Guest registration will be limited to one individual guest check-in at a time, with one staff member available to assist. The guest registration area will be sanitized between each use by staff. Contactless check-out, where in-person check out is not necessary - we will email you a receipt.
Guest Health
If you have experienced flu-like symptoms in the past 48 hours, or have a temperature of 100 and above, we ask that you do not stay with us at this time. We will have to turn guests away who exhibit any of these symptoms. Temperature checks will be performed upon check-in.
50% Capacity
We are operating at 50% capacity for extra precaution. We are filling every other pod in our 12 and 8-pod cabins for added distance. If we are low on capacity, we will place each guest in their own cabin. If you do not wish to share a cabin, we have private room options available.
Masks & PPE
We are requiring staff to wear a mask at all times during guest interaction and ask that all guests wear masks in common areas as well.
Keeping Clean
Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the property. Self cleaning products are available throughout our site. We adhere strictly to OSHA and CDC guidelines with rigorous cleaning and sanitation of guest pods, restrooms, community areas, and back of house. Frequent sanitization of high contact areas after each use. All plates, glasses, and silverware are washed and sanitized before every use.
Experiences
We have transitioned all of our guided experiences to self-guided experiences to ensure positive outdoor experiences are accessible to all guests. Our community experiences traditionally occur outdoors with natural spatial distancing.
Staff Health
Daily health screenings to ensure all team members are symptom free. All team members have been certified in safe food handling. The use of gloves and face coverings for team members, where required.
