River Mountain Retreat with Aly and Emily

Rest • Reset • Rejuvenation

$999 in an All-Inclusive Glamping Pod.

Join us March 9-12, just before the spring equinox, to solidify our winter rest, listen for the stirrings of spring energy within us, and tend the soil of our inner landscape for spring rejuvenation. The rhythm of our three days together will mirror the nature of this seasonal transition: rest, reset and rejuvenate.

REST + RESET + REJUVENATION

REST: On Thursday we will gather together around the campfire to meet, greet and connect, followed by a restful practice with ayurvedic foot oiling to nourish us at the end of winter. We align and awaken our senses to the winter energies of the season with some Yin yoga and nature bathing. There will be space for journaling and reflecting and we will offer prompts for contemplation of the passing winter.

RESET: Reset begins with an invigorating hike to move some winter stagnation and warm our bodies in preparation for a playful scavenger hunt, small group inspiration and conversation, guided walks in nature and Yoga Nidra with Sankalpa.

REJUVENATE: Gather around the fire on Saturday night to welcome, honor and celebrate the spring energy quickening beneath the surface. On Sunday morning, we offer a warming asana practice of belonging to the larger ecosystem and a final sharing of our envisioned spring landscapes. What is taking root to anchor us this spring so that we may show up with grace and ground and clarity?

I am a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist and E-RYT 500 hour Yoga Alliance certified Yoga Instructor. I have been studying and practicing yoga for over 20 years. For me, yoga has proven to be a path to greater self-awareness and healing. It is an honor to be able to share the tools of yoga and its benefits with others.

“Go outside and play” was the motto in my childhood home, and so I did. The forest helped me develop my sense of wonder and danger, and it taught me to trust my intuition. In nature I discovered the natural rhythms of life and its cycles. I found a way of being that made sense and felt healing to me. I learned to lean into the rhythms of nature and let that wisdom guide me. In the forest, I feel connected to something greater than myself. I have since made it a practice to spend as much time in nature as possible.

Now I guide others on their journey to wellbeing and to trusting their own deep-knowing. By spending time in nature, we can reconnect with our own true nature and with that of the whole. We are the medicine.

I am an E-RYT 500 hr Yoga Alliance certified Yoga Instructor & a teacher, student, grower, & maker of herbal medicine.

I love teaching yoga because I believe that yoga generously reveals our essential belonging by empowering us to dance our individual dances of authenticity & integrity. To me, yoga is an invitation & a discipline to embrace ourselves & eachother, while encouraging us to participate in our evolution, consciously. Teaching is an honor & a privilege I hold with great reverence & levity.

My practices of yoga & herbalism provide me with the strength, stamina & rest needed to stand at the frontier of who I think I am and what I am becoming…and of who I think WE are and what WE are becoming.

Remembering what it is to be human upon the earth & reclaiming our human place in the family of everything is the heart of what I offer & teach. I have a line of herbal topical products & teas to inspire & empower your wholeSelf care and I make small batch, fresh plant remedies for my Wheel of the Year Apothecary CSA - members receive 8 shares of seasonally curated remedies & rituals delivered across the US on the solstices, equinoxes & cross-quarter days.

We are divine relational beings, in conversation with everything. Living & practicing in rhythm with nature, as nature, is an open-ended path of healing & wholeness.
